How to add information to your network repository?

| Answer |
There are two ways to add information to your network repository after you logged in at Share4DEv or your own network repository:
1. Add new information by using the tool in the menu. This can be a new person, organisation, activity/project, resource or solution (experience / technology/Q&A or practice). The procedure for adding new items to the knowledge base can be found in the manual.
2. Or you can link existing items in the Share4Dev Knowledge Base entered by other partners to your own network repository (re-using information).
The procedure for this linking is as follows:
1. Login first at your own network repository.
2. Go to / and Find your network
3. To add an existing resource to your network, click on the 'resources' icon (books).
4. On the next screen you will see the resources already linked to your network and a search tool to find other information in the Share4Dev Knowledge Base.
5. Click on the button behind Resources: - Select a resource.
6. You will see a pop-up with the first 10 resources in the Share4Dev Knowledeg Base
7. Type e.g. the name of your country in the box and click on search.
8. The system will search for all resources with the name of your country in the title and the summary description and the result will we shown in the same pop-up box.

Next to adding new information your network repository, you will be able to use existing items in the Share4Dev Knowledge Base that are entered by other organizations and networks that are using the Share4Dev Knowledge Base.
In this way you will be able to quickly building up your own repository by re-using the existing information.
On the other hand the new information you are entering in your repository will also be available for the other partners to be added to their repositories.
This is the advantage of all partners working together in the shared, open-access Share4Dev knowledge system.
